Oracle of Ages
In 2001, just before the GBC was to die out in favour of the GBA, it received a last hurrah in the form of two new Zelda games: Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. Co-developed by Nintendo and Capcom, these two games, while separate games on their own, introduced something never seen before: a unique password system that allowed progress from one game to be carried over into the other, and had an impact on the second game played. In fact, for the full storyline, both games must be completed in this matter.
